Romance and mystery are my go-to genres—they pretty much dominate my reading list. I’ve been a book lover since forever, and my love affair with words kicked in when I was just a kid.

Oh, and guess what? I’m not just the editing guru; I’m also weaving my own cozy mystery series that’s in the works, all set to be self-published. Exciting stuff, right?

Throughout my adult life, everyone from friends to family, coworkers, and bosses have hit me up to give their writing the once-over. Spotting errors has always been my thing, and helping out was a blast because I love doing it.

Funny story—around seven years back, as I dived into the indie publishing scene and started cooking up my own stories, I noticed something. Turns out, most of my author pals didn’t find editing half as fun as I did. Some didn’t like it at all.  So, I had a lightbulb moment and decided to start my own proofreading and editing gig, dedicated to helping fellow wordsmiths.

Once the decision was made, I began reading and taking classes, soaking up all the knowledge I could get. My mission? Sharpen those editing skills, get cozy with the industry ins and outs, and make sure I was top-notch before diving into the professional scene.
